This is a letter that is the result of the Spiritual Journal workshop conducted last CSW 2015 of South Luzon last Septembe 26-27.
Though very short is the time we tried listening to Your words, Lord You help us realize that we can still serve and be Yours in spite of the many “torn flesh and brokenness” that we always have. Like St. Paul, countless times we asked You Lord to take out all our weakness and inclination to fail and sin against Your will. Oftentimes we thought we are unworthy of Your trust and mercy. Insufficient to be Your servant, inadequate to lead people back to Your loving fold.
Yes Lord, we can barely understand Your will and numerous times we doubt Your ways and directions. Most of the times when we suffer difficulties, we hide instead of seeking Your care. Why is it so difficult for us to trust a trustworthy Father? Why is it so hard for us to believe in the promise of an ever-providing God that takes care even those very little creatures that lived in this world?
Assure us always Lord and keep Your patience. Help us understand that serving a perfect God requires not perfection itself but our willingness to be perfected by Your grace. Break our heart of stone oh Lord and shove down our throats boastfulness and pride. That by Your mercy and compassion we may be able to accept Your unconditional love and quickly respond to call for evangelistic works. That through Your wisdom and guidance oh Lord, we Your humble servants may be able to do greater things for Your glory; in the mighty name of Jesus and the intercession of mother Mary. Amen.
