Mary is known to be a woman of obedience. She is admired by many because of her bravery to follow God’s will and her devotion to God in whatever situation. She walked a difficult path and witnessed the most important and most heart-breaking events in history but still stood firm in faith beside her son, Jesus. Because of these, we look up to her not only as the Mother of Jesus but as the Mother of all.
The world today and the world 2000 years ago is rarely the same. It has changed and is continuously changing. Pope Francis said, “We are not living an era of change, but a change of era” and no matter what we do, we will never be able to escape these changes. It is something that presses us out of our comfort zones. It is destiny-filtered and faith-built. Change is God’s way of telling us that no matter how transformed the world is, His love will remain the same and His plans will still prevail.
Unity is an essential element of any Christian community. A united community can accomplish a lot specially in the mission that God has given them. Unity is the key of which we can evangelize the world. Also, unity is Jesus’ desire when He prayed to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane.
A very important ingredient to unity is humility. Without humility of the members of the body, unity is impossible to achieve. Jesus already showed us what true humility is all about.
